DIRECTIONS – Refer to pattern and photo for applique placements and cutting instructions.
1] Make a copy of the pattern.
2] Cut out felt using material list above and transfer any embroidery markings. Cut the grass using landscape "D".
3] Using a blanket stitch along the top and a running stitch along the 2 sides and bottom, sew grass to block using 3 strands of #502.
4] Using a running stitch, sew background leaf to blocking using 2 strands #301.
5] Using a blanket stitch, sew stem to block using 3 strands #976.
6] Using a blanket stitch, sew cap to block using 3 strands #436.
7] Using a running stitch, sew foreground leaf to blocking using 2 strands #301.
8] Using a running stitch, sew spots to cap using 2 strands #976.
9] French knot dots using 6 strands #301.
10] Using a stem stitch, embroider veins to leaf using 6 strands #783.
