DIRECTIONS – Refer to pattern and photo for applique placements and cutting instructions.

1] Make a copy of the pattern.

2] Cut out felt using material list above and pattern. Transfer any embroidery markings.

3] Using a blanket stitch, sew cupcake bottom to block using 3 strands #0626.

4] Using a blanket stitch, sew bottom icing to block using 3 strands #3716, middle icing using 3 strands #963, and top icing using 3 strands #604.

5] Using a running stitch, sew cherry on cupcake using 2 strands #902.

6] Using a running stitch, sew leaves to block using 2 strands #522.

7] Using a stem stitch, add cherry stem, leaf detail, and cupcake stripes using 6 strands of #3862.

8] Using a straight stitch, add "sprinkles" to cupcake icing using 6 strands of white floss and #902. Use a random pattern for color placement.
